well, she was at a "race spot" aka transfer, which runs parallel with vandalia a few streets down. cops came to bust transfer st and she sped off through the crowd taking the back roads onto vandalia. The cop noticed her car, chased her down and she ran the red light and thats when life ended for the guy in the corolla.

From what I've seen of Uni, this seems to be a much more accurate account of what probably happened:

That article was written by a real reporter. Nobody has stated that she had a logical reason for running (warrant, on probation, etc) so it just seems odd at this point.

I think the cops didn't want to get blame for chasing her so they blamed it on street racing because it's right at that spot. And who the F goes there anymore ever sense that big bust, no one right, but dumb driver that wants to get there car towed. Just like the accident that happen at the very beginning of summer where the hmong family of three got hit and killed the mom or something like that, coming back from church by 35north and Larpenteur they chased this dude and caused an accident and didn't F@#$en say sorry or shiz to the family that they lost one of there loved one. At less respect and horn that family with something shiz instead of lets give ourself a pat in the back for chasing this criminal down and putting him be hind bars. Thats just wrong.

Holy crap.... I don't think I've ever read such a huge line of BS in my life. It's just retarded the way the media twists and embellishes things just to make things seem more outrageous or exciting.

Wow, just wow. The comments after that article are about Youtube caliber intelligence. I'm sorry but I'm not even going to waste my time trying to talk sense into those retards.

tonight was a perfect example of why street racing f***ing sucks. because of that crash there were a grip of cops on university, and since i have a "tuner" car i got followed countless number of times, and got a ticket for not coming to a complete stop while making a right turn at a light.( I was damn near stopped and there was no traffic) the worst part is, is that i only dropped a buddy off at his house, yet that cop was certain i was street racing, or about to.

I would have straight up told him that he should go after the Hondas doing burnouts with exhausts that're too loud and people without front plates instead of picking on people who're minding their own business.

Most of the time I'm perfectly respectful to cops, but there is a line of respect for me, my time, and my bank account that shouldn't be crossed, and if they do, they're getting lip. Everyone and their mother rolls through stop signs and right turns at lights. I'd be willing to guess the cop did in order to pull you over. That's a 100% bullshit ticket and he knew it when he wrote it.

He admitted that he didn't stop, so it was a good tag. I figure you're going to get a ticket once every few years even if you're minding your own business. I wouldn't take it personally.

it was a b.s. ticket beacuse he followed me for 6 or so blocks right on my ass, and then he tagged me for that. i dunno maybe thats a legit thing to give someone a ticket for. but i garuntee that if i was middle age in a mini van i wouldnt have gotten it
