I know its dumb, but this weather has me excited for the cruise, rain or shine its gonna be a blast!
I like rain, but I hope it's dry so I can push the car that much further, I just don't grip that well in the wet.
But anyway, I've got shifts covered, I'll be signing up after I get paid tomorrow. I also might be dragging a friend along, but otherwise I'll need to find someone to share a room with.
With the way the weather was last night, I just hope it's not snowing! Who's idea was it to have the cruise this late in the year? haha

This is about par for the course timing-wise. Weather will be fine, it'll be warmer than it is now.

With everything else going on in the fall it seems like the cruise is generally pushed until mid-October. September was a crazy busy month, and we wanted to do the dyno-day before the cruise, and I sure am glad the cruise wasn't this weekend :D The weather for next weekend is looking decent; high 40's but sunny. Just dress appropriately since we will be standing outside for the driver's meeting.

Scheides and I did the final planning tonight and I got a chance to sit down and and look at E85 stations. As long as you have a FULL tank of E85 or pump gas when you arrive to the meeting location you will have enough for the entire day when we get to our hotel in Chippewa Falls. There is an E85 station just northeast of our hotel on the same road.
Also, thanks in advance to Kevin 1G Drummer for becoming our Cruise bitch and getting our map packets printed and stapled. He will be the one to get your packet from come Saturday.

If you get 14mpg or better you'll be fine (assuming a 14+ gallon tank). I've yet to let you E85 guys down ;)
