ok so i'm still having issues since having my car tuned. I fixed all my ect wiring it reads just fine, reloaded my tune in and the car is still knocking bad like 22 counts. my wide band reads 10:1, afr est is at 9:1, boost est is right on. and my ltft lo is at -12.

I haven't changed or messed with anything on the car since having it tuned except fixing the ect wires.

now while at work tonight I was able to do a boost leak test up to 25 psi and only found one small leak at a vacuum port I have capped. (i'm going to put a new vac cap on when I get home)

now could the knock and everything being off be from this one little boost leak?

any help is apreciated!

What are your mid LTFT? LTFT Low is just idle. Do you have DSMLink? 22 knocksum is very high. Can you lower the ignition timing a few degrees across the board and see if it gets better or worse?

I have dsmlink. you tuned my car a couple weeks ago. the high and mid LTFT are only like -2. and the boost est is spot on when your accelerating but at idle its at like 18inhg but the boost gauge is between 10-12inhg and when I left your shop they were right around zero and everything was mint. no knock what so ever.

when I left work after the boost leak test. I tried lowering the timing a couple degrees. but when I gave it a little gas you can here the turbo spooling like crazy but would only build 0-5psi. so I babied it home. figured I blew an ic pipe but all the pipes are on tight. maybe a hole in the ic? I guess I'll pull the bumper and check out the ic tomorrow

so I took off my intercooler to see if there are any visible visible holes in it and there weren't.

but what I did find is that somehow one of my silicone couplers between the turbo and the intercooler got chewed up and half of my intercooler is plugged!

so I think it is time to ditch this ebay fmic kit and get a legit one

what do you guys think?

ok the rubber in the intercooler is from from the inner part of my airfilter coupler that fell out last night on my way home and got ground up by the compressor wheel wich in the process destroyed my compressor wheel

yeah I know. I guess I learned the hard way not to buy a cheap air filter lol. but it was a bullseye t04b vtrim.
