Its the exhaust side. Its cast iron.

Must be freshly sandblasted that makes it look like aluminum.

helllllooooo spoolup. We should see this very soon on daily driver DSMs. I believe its streetable.

That is the exhaust housing.

If that's the exhaust housing then it would be two exhaust inlets to spin a single turbo. Pretty cool for a big engine.

Caterpillar used compound twin turbo setups on there big dogs instead of using egr valves to pass epa 04 emmisions. I dont think they will be doing that anymore as the twin turbo setup will not be able to pass epa 07 emissions.
