I'd put money on it that he didnt loc-tight the flywheel bolts and used a crap tq. wrench.... Just a guess though...

im guessing no loctite and no torque wrench at all, just tighten er down

3rd gear locked up and broke off in the tranny sending it in to pieces and braking it all apart. he had arp fly wheel bolts in it also

Oh, and it was third gear, right? Definately not 120mph. Maybe the OP meant 120hp?

Holy crap, that cameraman is lucky that flywheel didn't come through the floorboards. I put a scattershield on my car mostly for passenger safety since they're right in line with it. Some lucky SOB's.

I thought I was the only one who had a scattershield. I thought it was required at 11.99 or something back in the day (eithr not the case or not enforced). James has it in his garage if anyone is interested.

Interesting as the we were going to go gt42 on the colt we had.....

Definitly a flywheel issue.
