i have had this clutch i got from iceminion and he said it had alot of life yet. well i have gone at the most 1300 miles and it always slipped in 4th and 5th. now today it slipped in all 5 gears, and then went soft and i could shift, so i brought it home. is it because we could have put it in wrong or what could of happened?

what was your flywheel condition and step when you installed it?

Clutch pedal might not be adjusted right.

On the turbo flywheels it's very important to get the step right on. Non-turbo's not so much because of the way they're designed.

on the clutch assembly there has to be like a quarter inch of play before the clutch has pressuer on it there is a rod that goes to your mastercylendar that you can adjust it or u need to adjust your cruise control switch on the assembly

That doesn't sound too reassuring.
As mentioned before, I would ensure the clutch pedal is adjusted right. If not and it still slips, then good chance that tranny will have to come back out.
