Preventing heat soak on ic pipes

So I'm currently rocking mild steel short route intercooler pipes, and am experiencing mad heat soak. Seems both pipes are damn hot, even the one from outlet to i/m. There any products that can prevent so much heat soak? Been thinking of thermo wrapping the bottom one at least, but not sure how well it works. Looking for input, thanks in advance.

The air moves so quickly through those tubes that it doesnt matter how hot they are. Concentrate on running a quality intercooler instead.

This is why I have alumimum IC pipes; that and they're also much lighter which is nice. My air temps in my intake manifold are always within 0-10F above ambient.

It's a turbonetics core, and works great. Should I not worry about the pipes being hot then? My outlet on my I/c is ice cold, but a couple inches up it's so hot I can't touch it most times. Will do aluminum eventualy, the mild steel pipes are temporary for the summer.

In the end it probably won't make a noticeable difference as far as performance is concerned.

Kinda figured that, I get the insulation wrap cheap, so might just do it for shits and gigs. Not driving a show car, so not worried about having all that under the hood.
