Hopefully things work out with the guy you bought the cams from. What cams are you looking at as an replacement?
I'd like to stick to HKS 280s because they're proven and they work with the stock valvetrain. I haven't done enough research to justify changing my mind yet, but I also don't want to reinvent the wheel in the process. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

on a side note... how does the car feel now, compared to when you brought it in?!?

Sounds good about sticking with the HKS 280's.

It feels better, doesn't fall on its face so bad up top. The addition in power is noticeable. I sort of merged onto 35W sideways this morning in the rain...

Leakdown test should let ya know if its the problem or not. Then its time to start swapping parts and find the problem. FMIC, piping, turbo looked ok....exhaust plugged/bent/dented somewhere?

If it is the head, then look at it as an opportunity to upgrade; valvesprings, valvejob, maybe some porting, and bigger cams...all it takes is money, you've got lots of that, right?

I want one of these so called money trees. Hell i'd take a money bush right now. Bummer about the cams. My 264's lope alright, I suppose dsm's are different though.
