I know LSE use to replace the caps on the ECU's when they went bad, but now my ECS computer is starting to go bad, and wondering who in town still does it. Even looks like a resistor or two may have gone bad as well, not the best with electrical, but i'm sure black "Crap" leaking out isn't good.

If anyone knows of a place that does it, leme know!

My dads house, with me, and a bottle of vodka. Worked for my talon's ECU :D Oh and I have a catalog of the place I bought the components from, and I have a solder sucker.

I sent mine to ECM Tuning, Inc. AKA the people who make DSMLink. You can get the capacitors you need at Ax Man Surplus for cheap!

I can replace the caps also. Not to hard and I can show you how its done.

Did it to my 90 ECU

Replacement caps are much better. I actually recommend replacing the caps on the 1g ecu's even if you are not having problems. almost about 20 years old and those cap will leak...

I soldered my standalone ECU. Hope that give me some credit.

I may need some done at some point too, have to do some reading on the forums about the 3/s ECU computer. But the caps didn't look the best in that beast. I'll send you a msg if i need something done Andrew.
