Alright guys, I almost have my car back up and running again! Minus the fact that I can't start my car for a good 10 minutes because I think my starter is on its way out. It tries to turn over, but it keeps spinning, and then finally one time it'll go and fire up. Anyways- I need some help on my grinding first gear. I cannot put my car into 1st what to ever, but it shifts like butter from 2nd-reverse. I did install a new clutch, so do you think that I just need to adjust my clutch pedal or what? Let me know what your thoughts are.

There is a lot of stuff to check if you have shifting issues. Pedal adjustment is one of them. A few other things to look at: clutch master and slave cylinders, clutch pedal assemble worn, clutch fluid level, leaky/bent clutch line, did you bleed the clutch, bent/worn throw out fork, worn fulcrum, bad throw out bearing, tight fit from the input shaft to the clutch disk, bad pressure plate, incorrect step height on the flywheel, were the flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts torqued to spec, did you put grease in all the right places, some other un-forseen install error, and any number of issues inside the tranny. Can you go 2nd then 1st with out grinding?

No I cannot go into first after second. Is there a way you could help me take a look at it? I'm new to this whole automotive/dsm world. I'd pay you for your time.
