Now I wish I had gone cruising last night, could have met up somewheres and tested things.
I like NGK's and have heard not so great thing about autolites.

The NGK's gapped a 25 helped and fixed the problem. Situation is my turbo died today, I pulled onto the highway noticed it didn't feel fast looked up and it was making 10PSI at WOT.
WTF? I think to myself, look behind me and I'm spy huntering bitches behind me so bad it filled all three lanes on 494 and I couldn't see cars on the other side.
The car runs FINE at idle, did a quick compression test and it has 140 accross the board still, smoke comes out of some of the cylinders though (with the plugs out), weird. If the engine is loaded (i.e. turbo spooling) no smoke, idle or cruise/coast and I'm killing baby seals.

Well, as much as that sucks, it was funny to picture an 80's dodge product fumigating the highway.
What turbo you going to put on there now? get a 60-1.

I went ahead and just purchased a used T1 turbo.
Garret TO3 turbo. Apparently the T series turbos from Garret are from the WWII era, epic. This is just to hold me until the Evo is back on the road. I'll probably do a super 60 turbo conversion.
I'll install the turbo tomorrow and hopefully she'll be back on the road.

Got the omni up and running last night, has a few bugs but hopefully I can get those worked out soon. The new turbo arrived and I had to swap compressor housings, O2 housings, move the waste gate and a few other things but it worked out at the end. Shane also made a stage 1 red performance exhaust shield to cool off the intake manifold a bit.
My first porting ever, it turned out quite well, took me about 2 1/2 hours. I ended up taking out quite a bit of material on the inside, and taking bout 1-2 mm off on the ports. Which opened it up A LOT. I can definitely tell a really big difference. I want to take it off again and get the outlet on the EM machined so it's flat, I'm sure there's exhaust leaks as you can see it's quite rusty.

Have fun getting those studs out if you get the surface there machined! Looks like fun though.
