Definitely cool of them to do! Its not much, but its enough for some gas or a meal so it definitely helps.

Yea, marketing gimmick and a good one. Probably cost more than the $8.17 to get the letters together, print the checks, mail them, etc. Free advertising and praise when their customers post it everywhere.

That's pretty cool of them. Even if it is a marketing ploy, marketing is an important part of business in my opinion. Don't spend it all in one place!!
