wheels do not wiggle at all. the axles in the rear were installed already. they turned pretty freely, i installed the entire rear assembly. like the entire rear end all at once as thats how i bought it.
i tride grabing the axle and moving it around, just a very very small amount a movment on one side but nothing i would be worried about

The rear axles on these cars click all the time and they will usually last forever doing that and you usually won't be able to tell a good one from a bad one by looking at them or wiggling them. You just go buy new ones. If you run a welded center diff or welded VC, then those new ones will soon be clicking again.

well i went and bought an axle, got that in.
im still getting this clicking and popping noise, every once in a while i get a loud thunk as well.
going strait is fine most the time but turning slightly causes alot of noise./
anyone else got any ideas?

My car is down for awhile. If you want to borrow either of my axles or intermediate shaft for a couple days and swap it in just to see if the issue goes away, feel free.

the way it sounds to me is the spider gears or the limited slip in the rear could be shot id pull the diff cover and have a look see.

^^ +1. If it's fine going straight, but clunks and pops going around a corner I would be concerned about the diff. That is, unless the previous owner put a clutch type LSD in it.
