Pay special attention to the 6th rule which I just added.

http://www.mitsustyle.com/forums/announcement.php?f=78

First, I highly suggest if you have not posted before that you do so in the new members section. This is located in the off topic area.

Second, we are not putting restrictions on who can and can't post at this time. We ask that you own the items you are selling. No Ebay ads. Spammers will be removed quickly, as well as lackluster posts . We have more of an interest in protecting the buyer, over the seller.

Third, understand that if you have no interest in buying the items for sale keep your mouth shut. There is no reason for someone to make comments such as "your price is way too high" or "that's a pile of shit" or wishing people luck on their sale. You will enjoy a vacation from the site for similar posts.

Forth, Protect yourself. Be careful in all aspects of the transactions. Mitsu-Style.com is in NO WAY liable for any issues regarding any transactions.

Fifth, Ask. If you have a question and don't want to put it in the thread, PM the seller or an Admin if need be.

Sixth, be specific! Include details. FS/WTB ads that do not include details such as what type of car they are for will be deleted since they will do nothing but lead to confusion and potentially lead to a bad sale.

Bump to remind people. These rules are simple. Please read, know, and follow them. If you have a question please ask.

*** If you do not OWN it, DO NOT POST IT! ***
Read the rest of the rules, but this one has been ignored time and time again. It opens too many doors for people to get screwed. If you ignore this post and post up something for someone else, then congratulations! You just earned yourself a shot at making sure everything goes right with any deal that comes through these forums.

We're a fairly tight-knit community here and we all have to watch out for each other. PLEASE RESPECT THIS!

If you want to post something you found on craigslist or ebay or whatever, put it in the parking lot.

The rest of the rules are right here, at the top of every classified forum:

Also I'd like to remind people DO NOT POST in a "for sale" thread UNLESS YOU ARE ACTUALLY INTERESTED IN BUYING or have good info pertaining to the item for sale. It seems like I'm deleting off-topic posts in the classifieds section on a daily basis. They do nothing but clutter up threads and make it harder for interested buyers to get the info they're looking for. Sellers to not need a bump b/c you think the car looks good, b/c you're friends with the seller, etc.

Since people continue to post in classifieds thread when they have no interest in purchasing the item we may have to begin revoking classifieds privileges from offenders and/or handing out 1-day bans. This really is not hard people; if you don't own it, don't post it, if you aren't interested in buying it, stop typing!

I just wanted to remind everyone that the shoutbox is not the classifieds section. Scheides and I have both given many warnings regarding this and first time offenders will now face a 3-day ban no-questions-asked.

Everyone needs to refresh themselves on rule # 3 above. I've deleted at least 5 posts today alone.
