the wifes (Ali's) new car 89 mirage turbo

got the window replaced today
u pull it had it
also got
a full set of locks with 2 keys for it
the black plastic by the rear window. Ali's was cracked
the plactic around the rear defrost that i broke when I was working on the car
rear hatch cover that was not all broken up.

It happened at Ali's work. some one tossed a 10lb free weight through it. nothing was stolen at all. we think it was some punk kids. or they thought it was a civic and was going to steal it.

all the parts for her car and a ton of crap I got also was 55.00 at u pull it today

That's what I'm scared off. These things do resemble 4th Gen. Civics.

As some of you may know, this thing blew up a couple weeks ago. Mark and I tore the engine apart and this is what we found.

Wow, how did that happen? Timing belt come off and break all those valves?

Yeah. A few days prior to this an oil cooler line came off when she was going down the freeway. It still started and ran ok after the line was re-connected and oil was added, but it seized up a balance shaft and took out the timing belt the day we got all that snow

she was driving to work and the oil cooler line blew out and out came all the oil. the car still ran after we fixed on the side of 94 and got drove it home. the oil pump failed when I went to move it out and back into the drive way so they could plow it.

so pretty much
oil cooler line blew
oil pumped failed
locked up the b.s.
took out the b.s. belt
b.s. belt took out timing belt

it has not been a few good weeks
alys car blew up
ripped 1 of the tial's off the manifold on the evo (snow and jack jumping on my arm and curb dont mix)
car ran into our tree in the front yard(still have to post the pics up)
blew a 6in hole in the right rear tire of the evo
Ali is losing her job also
I need the month to be over already

it all started when her car died on 94 and she was late and they said it was a unexcused late. Then the car hit our tree a few days later amd we could not get out of the drive way so she call in to work and told them that we had to wait for the cops and a tow truck to get it out of the way. they were fine with it then. but a few days later she got a letter saying she was a no call no show to work for her reg day. she called early since there was an event in the morring. So they are saying she had to call 2 times. They are trying to out sorce the jobs for over 1/2 of what is makes now. So we made the choice yesterday for her to put in her 2 weeks so she will not be fired so it will look better on her apps to all the places she has sent her resume to already. They are looking at everything down there right now to fire everyone soon. It is total b.s.

Smart idea of her to just put in the 2-weeks and quit if thats how they're going to be. Hopefully she's able to find something she likes quickly.
