Yeah, 1g head. Whenever I tried moving it it would start to sputter and die. I am just amazed he tried to pass this off as being ok. Seriously made me go WTF?

Wow, that's one of the most hilarious things I've seen someone do to a car!

Why not put it back to it's correct location while the car is off and start it?

The PCV isn't hooked up, but it looks fine otherwise. :)

Yeah why don't you just take the bolts out holding the chain then bolt the CAS back on how it's supposed to be.? Suprised you haven't done that yet, especially since you know it's waaaay wrong.

How many times do I have to say I moved the damn thing. It does not run unless it sits like that. It isn't a matter of bolting it back the way it is supposed to be. It is a matter of figuring out why the hell IT ONLY RUNS LIKE IT IS.

Well it's 90* off right now. When you put it back to normal it could be 180* off, or correct. I'd make sure the notch is lined up correct with #1 tdc.
Looking at the picture, it seems the top has to rotate towards the front of the car? Based on this (http://www.roadraceengineering.com/1gcasin2g.htm), it looks like the notch should point to the back of the car with #1 tdc. Shouldn't take long to verify if it's lined up right.

Do a search on 6bolt swap into a 2g. With the 1g cas and 2g coil pack you need to put the plug wires on different. Switch the #1/4 and #2/3 coil wires around, then you should be able to install the cas properly.

I assumed there was already a 6 bolt in this, just swapped in a different one. If it was a 7 bolt before you'll need to invert the CAS in link or swap the injector wires on the ECU.

Yeah, it needs to come towards the front of the car. I do need to look over the plug wires once. They were correct when I dropped the car off, that doesn't mean shit though.
