Ya, the garage is detached, and it is an oversized 2 stall. I don't have gas run out there, but I do have a pretty good electric run out there. I need to figure out how to rewire the fuse box for a 240V circuit and prolly go with one like peter linked to. My neighbors actually have one they inherited from her dad, it looks a tad on the small side though. Still, it could work as an initial install, then upgrade to a bigger one later on :)
Anyone know how to wire 240? :D I have all the beer and food you can stuff yourself with.

How new is the wiring to the garage?
Your garage should have 240 standard unless it is really old.
You need 2 hots, a neutral, and ground.
Do you have breakers or fuses?

Breakers. There's like 6 or so in a small box. There is some blank spots, not sure if I can use those or not.

Its very simple if you have open spaces... If its breakers, 9 times out of 10 you have 240v at the main. Get a roll of wire, 3 or 4 strand, usually go with 10/3 or 8/3 depending on amps you plan to run through it. You buy a 2 pole breaker (whatever amperage you need), pull the cover off, place breaker on the board, hook black wire (hot) to one pole and red wire (hot) to the other pole on the same breaker. White (neutral)/Green (ground)/Copper (ground) all go to the ground block.
If you have Black, White, Green wires... Use Black and White as your 2 hots and Green/Copper as ground/neutral.
I'm sure you can find a diagram on google images. Very simple.

If everyone is searching out bright lights then I am willing to prefer nice led lights (http://www.niceledlights.com). They are bright than other lights along very low operating cost.
