After fixing the ground on the car, i drove it from the pole barn to near the house to get a free car wash with the rain we were suppose to get. It drove over perfect, no issues, idled like a dream, and pulled hard. I went up north for the opener this weekend and upon coming back sunday when i started it i could hardly keep it running. I drove it back to the pole barn to start tearing into it to see what happened.
The car would hardly idle, and would smell of gas horribly. However the AFR was pinned at 15:1 and would hardly move even when giving it gas or letting off the accelerator. So i decided to look into it the last few days and after getting back from school today i noticed several changes. It was set up as a pressure setting, 4 cylinder and the injectors were all set at +40 and throttle was decreased 10%. There were several wires cut loose of their tie downs under the dash down by the pedals, my ODBI cable was unplugged as was the wire harness to car alarm. The key is harder to turn than it was before and the CD is 4 songs past the one i left it on.
It was also left in reverse when i found it, and i always leave it in neutral for the remote start so it doesn't go anywhere. I'm starting to think more and more someone was in it this weekend. Damn people.

At least they didn't take anything or the car for that matter.. Every once in awhile I'll get in mine and my shift light rpm will be changed and my launch control changes. (Keydiver chip) The rear defrost decided to come on and drain my battery over night too. I guess some dsm's are just posessed!

Yeah, thank god i live in a hic town. If i lived in the cities more someone would know what they were doing and got away with it. I think I'm gona load the shotgun and leave it in the bedroom and take it out with me in the future.
Now it's all back to running and locked up.

Quick question, this may sound kinda dumb, but if someone were to get into your car, and perhaps hot wire it, would you be able to use a fire arm (legally) to stop them? Ive been pondering on this subject for quite some time, especially since one of my friends cars was stolen a month ago.

The stand point of, they are on my land, i feel threatened, and they looked like they had a weapon. From that stand point, anything in your hand could be used under the right situations as a weapon.
To me, my land, my car, are mine. If someone wants to take them, they are welcome, but if i find you. You will be leaving in a body bag.:madashell:

That makes sense, thanks. Now i will know what to do if anyone ever messes with my car. (lets hope no one does mess with it tho.)

Darn you caught me red handed. Just kidding. I guess I better be careful too since I live near you. There has been a couple of ricers and red neck truckers in my nieghborhood that always rev on me when I am out doing yard work.
I am just glad they did not take your car. Was anyone home?

Depending on the circumstances you MIGHT not get charged with manslaughter or murder. Might not look so good if you blast em from your front step with a shotgun or rifle though, be kinda tough to make it seem like self defense.
Generally if you are prosecuted, the jury wants to hear you felt you had no other option than to protect yourself with lethal force. (your stuff is not yourself)
Civil court is different, and is also what I hate about this country. The family can sue you for wrongful death and more often than not will win in that type of scenario (stealing your car or something in it). Inside your home it's open season, but you can still lose in civil court. Outside your home it better be an armed carjacking or something.
Get insurance. If they steal your car, no big deal. I'd rather have someone steal my car than prevent them from stealing it and have to clean all the blood out of it.

Shoot them, then drag their body into your house, and put a pickle in their hand. Self defense, case closed. :sasmokin:
