If the plenum were a completely round tube, the stresses would be distributed evenly.

Just an observation, but that head flange looks really thin.

I was told a while ago that if its not tapered at the back it causes excess turbulance. because the air hits a wall at the back, also has to do with the velocity of the air, hence why the magnus is such a good one, because it starts off fat, then tapers down. I could be wrong but this is just what i heard from someone who shall not be named.

The Pushit1.0 destroyed the Magnus in the last SMIM shootout; higher flow and better runner balance.

The manifold in the pics is the same one that was used for testing in that too.
