While they still cannot fill orders to save their life, they continue to try and improve the product. I'm disgusted and impressed at the same time.

This is cool, but I'm still glad I got the BBK. :D

Ahh, thats why it was off their site for a bit and this is the cover people have been reporting that they are getting.

Now I want it even more, wonder if they will try an even bigger comp wheel as Scott from FP eluded to in a post on evo-tech.

IDK, they're having failures already....they use an enlarged shaft and custom bearings...sooner or later this stock platform is going to be simply at a wheel size and mass limit for long term durability. I guess the red has a tendency to surge a ton aleady (news to me, everyone seems to conveniently leave this out of their reviews), so I'm guessing that's why they went this route.

Not stock appearing anymore though, so this will bump a lot of people out of that class.

You can still order it with the stock cover, there is an option on their site.

Surge, who knows how bad it is. I don't surge ever on my car yet you and Kracka can surge on demand with the stock turbo, wonder why?

Since I did cams I no longer get 5th gear surge.

Well if they went through the effort of making this comp cover obviously it is a pretty big issue/problem.

I can't wait to get one and see what 33psi and e85 will net me! At least a 6-8 week wait to start. ;)

6-8 weeks (claimed...probably more like 6-8 months) is crazy! Order a BBK and have it by the end of the week :D
