New alt is in and working!
It runs and boosts fine with the new plugs (gapped, just for Brandon)! It feels good to be back from my double-digit boost hiatus.

Did you have your battery properly load tested as well?

Battery tested fine.
I'm starting to see missing again. I'll try to track it down tomorrow. I had a constant misfire (vacuum included) that started at the exact time the CEL came on tonight, so I'll get that read and see what's up.
I will in no way be out for the cruise, shit's just annoying.

What plugs, and what did you gap them too?
Couple other good things to try would be a boost leak test, and consider some new plug wires if yours are ancient.

NKG BPR7ES, gapped to whatever Craig gapped them to. They were gapped noticeably closer than the ones I pulled out, so that is something I'm going to look into.
New wires are on my list, but I just find it weird that they worked fine initially, then slowly started to misfire again. I can still peg double digits and sometimes full boost, I'm going to give an ECU reset a shot, there's a passing thought that it could be map related.

Reset the ECU. My 2G did this consistently, I can't remember if I ever fixed it. What a pita. Replace plugwires for sure sooner than later.

Get new plug wires and verify your plugs are gapped to .030". If they're still misfiring after those two things are done bring the gap down to .028" and repeat if needed.
