I don't as that will all depend on the number of people that show up :(

Does this Drift Crew or whatever they call themselves have any experience running/organizing an auto-x event?

He made it sound like they have done it previously, but regardless they will be better than we would be lol. I'm sure that anyone that wanted to lend a hand in the organization and operation of that portion of the event could do so...

Alright thanks for the info :) I'm sure it'll be a fun day!

I'm getting excited for this! Any word on how strict they're going to be regarding cages?

x2 on the cage thing. I would think most of the cars that would be in the awd street tire class are fast enough to need at least a 5pt cage if not a 10pt.

Assuming I get off my lazy ass and throw in my new head gasket and studs I really want to come out to this.

X3 on how strict there going to be my Harnesses are out of date. But I've yet to run 11.49 will I need to buy new ones?

This should be a fun event. Maybe we should start a roll call of Mitsu owners that are going? We've got four of us from MN 3/S going.

later,
Curt

It sounds like tech will be pretty strict even though this is not an NHRA sanctioned event as BIR's insurance company requires them to do so. However, from my conversations with them it sounds like they are most concerned about cars that would be in the 9 second range without licenses, cages, etc. Take that for what it's worth...

The same rules (as far as a cage is concerned) applies for not only 9sec cars, but any car going over 135mph (ie: 10pt cage, harnesses, license...).

I guess we'll see. I plan on running all day Friday. If I get kicked off, then I guess Saturday I don't race :(
