PS3's are for movies, not games. sadly..

hmm...I don't know, but the PS3 we have has been working perfectly fine for us for the past 2 years with no issues. not trying to bash on a system but from what i've witnessed, the 360 does have good customer service but i dont think i'd want to deal with that red ring of death. PS3 is great for blue ray but im still kinda questionable about how reliable it is when I keep watching Blue Ray than switch to a game.

On graphics though, you guys should try Kill Zone 2 for ps3, the graphics are insane...insane. I havent played the 360 much but when i compared the 360 and ps3 graphics in COD5, there was little difference IN my eyes. ALL around, it's what you're gonna use it for. But I'm lovin my ps3 for right now.

NOTE: ps3 guys, add me!

i say ps3, you got a blue ray dvd player and a gaming system, i know some electronics guy awhile back said get the ps3, and the online play is free. unlike 180. i think xbox screwed up on this one, i rather have the original xbox modded! and a ps3 and a wii so my fatass can work out.... but just my .02 :)

Red Ring of Death = Fail. Therefore, I say PS3.

On a side by side comparison done by IGN, GOW 2 on 360 has better graphics/higher resolution the Killzone 2 on PS3.

Both have goods and bads, But I'd rather just buy a blu-ray player and save $100+

When you do something like that, you get a slow loading player that could become obsolete if it doesn't have the option to update firmware and support the Profile 2.0 movies. PS3 is one of the best options for a Blu-Ray player that is future-proof in that regard.

You can get the Samsung for $200, or $150 if you look around, Loads great/fast, and has updatable firmware.
