It is 5k for just the gear set, let alone an assembled working tranny. I would think the riders would want to wear leathers racing like that.

Having been in the bike scene for awhile in years past, i can accurately say most sportbike owners are complete douchebags who know nothing about what they own, how fast it is (or isnt), or how to ride it.

At least they had helmets on, but that will not help much when the rest of your body looks like it went threw a meat grinder.

Even with full protective gear, a crash at that speed can kill you. Maybe they are the exception to the rule like drunk drivers who kill everyone around them, yet live a long life themselves.

Yeah, I never ride at all in shorts, let alone going those kind of speeds. Those guys are total douche nozzles that probably couldn't go around a corner with any kind of speed to save their life. They know their bikes are fast in a straight line, and that's all they know.
