"no blow off valves" funny i see one in the picture. He also mentions that because he is running 24 pounds of boost he sees fuel cut at 5000 rpms. This guy is a douchebag. The part that really makes me cry is that there has been 24 bids on it already.

"This car runs 24psi on a cold day!!!
no blow-off valves
Stage 2 - High Performance Radiator - (This engine never gets warm
Stage 2 - Bauscher racing 2nd gen ported and polished 02 Housing
(-30+20psi) Boost Gauge
2.) Fuel Cut, when running as mutch boost as this turbo puts out, fuel cut happens around 5000rpm, if you want to rev
more, just turn the boost down. Or install SUPER AFC. I have noticed full rpm band with 15-16psi."

"Problem points:
1.) Valve cover has been replaced 3 times! I cannot find a 1st Gen valve cover that doesnt have (MINOR) cracks in it.
Kind of a pain, but does not affect engine performance in any way (All 1st Gen TSi have this problem).

2.) Fuel Cut, when running as mutch boost as this turbo puts out, fuel cut happens around 5000rpm, if you want to rev
more, just turn the boost down. Or install SUPER AFC. I have noticed full rpm band with 15-16psi.

3.) Massive RPS 2800lb clutch, installed to handle the extra HP, but it tends to go through Clutch master and Slave cylinders
every 15k - 20k miles. The clutch requires more weight to disengage because its so big, and the stock clutch cylinders arent built
to supply the neccesary force. They are easy to replace about 1hr, and cost only $40 to rebuild."

 maybe he should look for a 2g valve cover, those don't have the same problems as the 1g's do.

He doesn't have any way to control the fuel (SAFC)?? lol

My question is how the hello that dirty car every won Best of Show.....

What kind of BOV is that anyway? It does not look like a 1g to me. Its at 3,500 and still reserve is not met...kinda sad for a really abused 1G. Ha, he put new fog lights on and didnt take the old ones off....Plus hes running that much boost on a 16G without a FMIC.

5.) Power steering leak. Super slow, the dealership wanted $1800 to replace entire front assembly! I just add steering fluid once every few months.

this looks like a job for jb weld

4.) Small dent to rear left quarter panel. Very unnoticable, I actually purchased the car 4 yrs ago and only after I bought it did I realize it had the dent.
I was so excited about buying the car that I never saw it! I am not sure how it got there, it was before I owned the vehicle.

Yea I sure cant notice that dent. Its like someone took a toothpick to the side of the car its so unoticable. LOL

I don't get what the fuss is about? That car doesn't look that bad. Looks better than most of the cars rolling around here.

What JB Weld? I don't see it.

What kind of BOV is that anyway? It does not look like a 1g to me.

That's a stock 1G BOV.

The lack of AFC is probably saving the car. If he could lean it out so that it didn't fuel cut and run rich then it probably would have blown up by now. :)

I guess it could be. Looks like the BOV has a plastic cover on it I have not seen before.

I see no JB on the BOV. All 1G's came with that plastic cover over the BOV...most have just fallen off or been taken off by now. The kid is full of shit anyways...says it runs 24 psi yet his gauge only goes up to 20.
