I recently did cams and when I took off the cas trigger I did not note the the way it came off... I know I know...

When everything is at top dead center on a 2gb 97 through 99 on the trigger there is a big opening and a small opening..

Where should the big opening be? 8 O'clock or 1 O'clock???

Any info on this would be amazing!!

No one knows the orientation of the CAS trigger? The mitsu book says there is a dot to align, I could find no markings on his trigger.

There are alignment dots on the housing, and one of the "wings" of the rotor has a divot or valley of sorts on it. Line those two things up and slide it in. Make sure it's hard first though, or you'll have trouble getting in.

Now that I read more, I have no idea about 2g's.

Can't help myself....that's what she said...I know it's childish, but it had to be done.

Usually, on timing related components, set your car at TDC and align the pins/marks/slashes/indents/whatever, this is true for most cars in general.

There are very few people with 2GB specific knowledge, because they are rare.

Take some pictures and post em up! We will try to figure it out for you!
