I think it ended up that way because I degreed a 2.4 with a DOHC head

I would think it would have more to do with the 2.0 cam gears then the DOHC head. In the end the numbers do not mean much, as long as the cams are doing what they should be doing.

Actually its a 2.4 liter. No stroker here :)
