I need to replace the passengers CV, as its clunking a little... I Replaced the tie rod ends this weekend, but it still clunks a little on the right side. Might be a dumb question .. but, do I need a special CV joint due to the 6 Bolt swap in a 2GB.

Get the correct shaft for your car/transmission; the engine doesn't matter.

Yea you're transmission is still a 2g, that's all that matters. Might be a good time to get new fluid if you haven't done it in awhile, since you'll have to drain it anyway.

You shouldn't have to drain it. Just be quick when you pop the old axle out, and put the new axle in. It will drain a little bit out, but if you're quick enough you won't lose enough to make a difference.

Haha, I didn't even think about doing that. I guess if you're really quick you might just lose an ounce or two.

I had to change out my front passenger axle last summer, and I only lost a couple teaspoons.
