Laptops help me choose

Ok i am in the market for a new laptop since all i have is my tuning laptop and Sam and I share her nice dell we got.
Basically I want something equal to this dell but for me.
She has 1.6ghz, 60gbHD, 2GB ram.
I think i know basics about computers and this is why picked what i did and price of course.
Cheaper the better but limit of $400

I found several on Newegg.com that are more powerful than your current unit and lower in cost.

Side note, I recently purchased a laptop from the site and have only good things to say. Not too mention, I have made other purchases from them in the past with good experiences.

I just bought a hp with a 2ghz processor 3 gigs of ram and a 320 gig hd for 500 brand new from best buy. I know thats a little more than you said you wanted to spend but for the money it's a decent laptop. otherwise best buy has a few around 300-400

Thats sick. I am checking out some shit on BB for less that $200 with 2ghz, 2GB ram and 80gb HD.

If anyone wants a 'tablet PC', I have one listed on Craigslist as well. It's a whole lot newer and more expensive than what turbo is able to spend, but perhaps someone else needs my particular tablet.

I love My Acer EEE PC netbook. It has a 10" screen; any smaller and the keyboard gets too small, but this one is about right to type a quite a bit on. I don't think there's a better type of computer for logging with than a netbook.
