these are actually pretty good all season tires. I think apart from Michelin, Goodyear makes great all season performance tires that lasts a while depending on the tire size.
here is what i suggest.

well I figured out what I'm going to do I'm gona pick up a mint set of 98 gsx rims with some basically brand new fuzion hri's in a week. they may not be the best tires but they are all season tires and I like the 98 gsx rims a lot so it should be ok

so my neighbor slashed my tire.

Now that you have the tire situation figured out, think of a way to burn your neighbors house down, sleep with his wife/gf, kill his dog and piss in his cereal. Honestly who slashes tires?

Get a set of stock wheels and throw some cheap winter tires on them, you will be amazed at the difference. Then use your wheels now with some summer only tires like the HTRZ III. You will be much happier.

I agree completely. So far my HTRZ III tires have been great.

Others will have plenty of opinions to add to this discussion (kracka) I'm sure ;)

What to say what to say...

For a high-performance all-season tire I'd look towards Kumho or Yokohama as they both make multiple variants that would fit the bill. BFGoodrich tires aren't too bad but they lack tight quality control so don't be surprised if at least 1 of your 4 is defective is one way or another. Sumitomo all-seasons are nothing special (their summer tires are great though). Goodyear tires are over-priced and under-perform.

Keep in mind though, no all-season tire will be excellent at anything; they'll be ok, good if you're lucky, but a far stretch from great at anything. I suggest what other people are saying and picking up a cheap set of stock wheels for some snow tires (the cheapest winter tire will far outperform the best all-season in snow and on ice). Whatever you do though, do not attempt to drive on summer tires through the winter.

I would definately burn his house down but since I live in a town home and his is connected to mine I don't think that would be a good idea. but I'll think of something.

as for the tires I'm getting a set of 98 gsx rims that are mint with some all season tires on them. I'm going to have them powder coated black and then run the tires that come on them until they wear out then put summer tires on them and just keep the rims that are on my car for winter wheels

I'm sure you can find a nice set of stock used rims with some winter tires that have atleast 50% tread left on them for around 100 picked up locally.
