I think the mod bug and GFCP are different things. I take a hit on the go fast crack pipe daily in my evo. It's been fun since it was stock and its still fun as it is now. One thing is for certain: when it's not running, I go bezerk within a few days :)

GFCP is the addiction that empty's the wallet. It's the constant urge to keep buying crap to make your car go faster.

What you do on a daily basis is the little "fix" that keeps you happy until you need more(your new turbo). ;)

yea really scheides!

I jsut took it to the grocery store..I think the stock turbo with cams and..well..scheides car basically is a great DD. Then, I'd concentrate on cosmetics..cf front lip, vortex splitter, nice wheels, etc. JDM mad tyte yo! I think for how often i'd be able to get on it on the highway in the talon and how much room i'd take up in doing so, I just don't know. I'm not sure i see it as a realistic thing anymore, but maybe I'm just spoiled ROTTEN right now with such a fun head-turner such as this fricken evo!

my 2 cents.. Out of debt is a fine place to be. Roll with it, buy only what you can with what you have in the bank. Living within your means feels great.

I've heard people are making 500+ on 9 turbos. I would say evo if you could afford it.
If you can keep both make the talon a race car, or get rid of it and be like scheides and have an everyday comfortable, fun, practical car.

Good luck with your choice.

You know there's a lot to be said here. I had credit cards and misc debt the whole time I owned dsms. With the evo I've come full circle, all mods are paid with saved money and while I did take out a loan for the car, I have worked my ass off to get it paid off in full asap. IDK, bottom line, if you'll be over-extending yourself by buying an evo, its not the right decision. It is after all, 'just a car' :)

Hookers and blow, as it were.

Get a slow economy car. A kia is a good choice. It makes fast cars seem WAY faster.

Or stop being such a pussy and put a turbo v8 in that talon, make it rwd and then you'll have some fun! :D
