yea I went to dsmlink.com and all they had was a chip, the wire, and the CD but I thought dsmlink was an already put together ecu with the chip already in it? Do I have to have the chip put in?

Yes you need an ECU that is socketed.. think they sell those too.

Do you really not know how to use a search button? I'm all for helping people out, but to start a new thread for something as easily found as this, is kinda ridiculous. Google is your friend.

You need an eprom ecu, and you need to get it socketed. Shane at DB can do this.

^ What he said about the eprom and that you need it socketed. I'd call DB and they can get you all set up!
