I have had a helluva time finding GL-4 75w-90 locally. I have a hard time believing everyone runs redline in their transmissions.

What do people run for fluid? I want something thicker than synchromeshit.

Yeah MAP should have Redline.

I personally run the Redline MTL / MT-90 cocktail.

Yeah, I found out they have it, and if I can't find any other option, i'll go there. I just wouldn't mind finding something thats more widely available. What does like... a dealership or service center put into a DSM? Does anyone have any perspective on that?

I was running a mix of Redline MTL and MT90 in my trans when a slider let go mid 3rd gear pull. In my TRE trans I'll going to be running straight MT90, TRE has a pretty good read on what fluids he likes.

+1 on MT-90 (x2) and MTL mix.
Mitsu probably uses their own fluid which would be more than $30 for redline I'm guessing.

I was thinking straight MT90 as well -- high mileage tranny and lots of hard shifting this summer doing autox/rallyx (hopefully)

Mitsu uses their OEM Diaqueen fluid. Its expensive and you have to bring in your own jug since they get the GL-4 tranny fluid by the drum. I've used both in my Evo and the Redline is better.
