You want a quiet exhaust? You want to make maximum power? Look no further.

Over two years ago, I purchased a buschur 3" TBE w/ the bullet muffler and hiflo cat. The car was relatively quiet, as I had just come from a 2G DSM with an apexi downpipe/testpipe/catback and it was BOOMY and LOUD!

About 6 months later I decided to swap out the cat for a testpipe, and was super glad I did! The car picked up torque and power, it was great! Noise was 'just a tad louder' but it was springtime and I didn't care. It was fun to have a fast, semi loud car with throaty exhaust.

As the summer wore on, I grew weary of the rhaspyness of the car and opted for a second bullet muffler in the testpipe. I had came across a buschur exhaust and through a deal between two friends and myself, we bought it. One guy got the testpipe from it, I got the bullet muffler, cut it out and welded it into the testpipe (for my car) and the last guy got a muffler-less catback. Everyone was happy!

Now, a year later, I decided to try out Buschur's 'quiet' catback with the magnaflow muffler. I ended up picking up just the axle-back from SloRice on evoM (thanks man!) and it slipped right on without a hitch! I was *very* impressed that over almost 3 years I can buy different pieces of this exhaust and fit them together w/o any problems.

So I start the car up and go to the back of the car to check for exhaust leaks. To my amazement, I stumble a little and end up with my face right in the tail pipe (but didn't hit it) and my ears are not bleeding! The car is genuinely quiet! At a cruise, I can listen to the radio at lower volume, at WOT the car is still loud enough to make me smile. I am 100% happy with this setup, and would recommend it to anyone with anxious cops in, whiney neighbors, or just looking to quiet things down and stay on the d/l.

I'm considering throwing in one of their new 'SD' mufflers into the straight section just behind the testpipe, but honestly I don't know if the car needs it. I'm mentioning it to a friend and he's yelling at me, 'stop! you're quiet enough!' and frankly, he's probably right.

Vid of startup, idle, and some random driving, some WOT runs with and without alky:

I wanna see if I can get the tip to tuck under the bumper a bit more, not sure what's wrong but my old setup did it a bit and this one sticks out a bit further yet.

Magnaflow definetly makes the best sound mufflers!

Do you think you could take a couple measurements? I am planning on doing exhaust on my Stealth and would like it to be quite. If it's not quite, I might as well save some weight and run open down pipe. Also, is this still a straight through design or does it have baffles?

Straight through, no baffles. What measurements do you want?

Check out the Perrin catback, hennekins had it on his car and it was smooth and quiet. or look at the buschur quiet catback, I am now quite fond of it :D

Sounds really mellow at idle. At WOT sounds good too. I like it.

What was with the whistling in the video? Did you see an officer of the law and pretend to whistle like nothing was going on? LOL ;)

The diameter and the length. It should be 6" or 7" diameter. Length should be 14". Hopefully that's it, because I would like to get one since they seem to work so well.

WIth the radio off, the car is quiet enough that basic conversation can be had and a simple whistle breaks the silence...dunno, just struck me as aweful quiet and I was bored!

The bullet muffler or the magnaflow?

I'll be selling the bullet setup, not sure on the price yet. This section is $250 new.
