From the sounds of it, was a little bit of both. Rust and a busted bolt, gotta love MN and rust.

Did you check to see if the metal portion of the mounts was seperated from the rubber at all? That's also somewhat common on these things. It give a big thud when you put it into reverse usually.
The rubber mounts were in GREAT shape, and once I actually got to working on that bolt (after I talked to Gravy) it wasnt rusted at all, it just fractured and then the head side backed out it looked like. But she drives great. Yay.
Still havent done the MAF yet, being lazy today.
Sold, time for a new project now. Who wants to sell me a 1g with a motor for like 1k.

When are your "right" days, and are those DSM clearance days, everything must go for $1500 or less?
