UPDATE!!
Well steve got it on the lift, and found out that the balance shaft belt, got something caught in it, and was shredding the belt. So all is good. I should have her back by monday or tuesday. :banana:

From what steve said, it was only the bs belt that got chewed up

From what I have heard, that's pretty much the same deal. I think u-pull has a couple maroon 1gb's, so I will have to make a trip for some pieces as soon as I get it back.

Well, got it done, it was a bolt that fell down in there and chewed up the BS belt, only made a few small nicks on the outside of the timing belt, no big deal. It still makes the noise, albeit it much less, and only on decel. Driving it, it's perfectly fine. I'm stumped on this one. Shane?

looks like i should have come in here a little sooner, sorry. Sounds like my belt took more of a beating though
