I’m starting to fix up my 1995 TSI AWD that has been sitting for 2 years after the clutch went out and I neglected it because I was focusing on my 04 STi.
The car will need a new front bumper and head lights.
I was considering getting a body kit I know that it’s very unpopular but think about how unattractive the 95 Tsi front facia is compared to the 97+ mitsu. And I would like to get the projector style headlights.
IF I but a body kit for a 97+ eclipse/ talon AND projector style headlights for 97+ will they work with my 95 Talon hood, fenders and how will it bolt on?
Any suggestions?

I’m starting to fix up my 1995 TSI AWD that has been sitting for 2 years after the clutch went out and I neglected it because I was focusing on my 04 STi.
Before I start to put $ into it I know I want to check the compression and timing. I’m currently in Iraq and want to get this all going when I get home. I’m told it’s a 6-bolt, that it has a coolant leak, a boost leak and will need a new turbo. I love DSMs but am I getting in over my head? What else should I have inspected on the car before starting to fix things?
Any suggestions?

I had 315awhp on my sti (tuned at DB) but ended up with a hole in my piston so I want to keep it around stock #’s and boost but I want a fmic. Any ideas on a decent turbo under $600? Used? YES OR NO? and how about a FMIC and piping?
Any suggestions?

I'm not sure but I thought you just needed to switch lights and the bumper to 97+
If you do go with a body kit don't buy cheap, I had fitment issues with mine now I'm back loving the stock look. As long as the body kit is 97+ you shouldn't have any problems. You drill holes into the body kit to match your holes on the car.

The last time I drove it, it was very rocky and actually a scary ride past 80mph. I’ve buried the needed in my 04 sti so it wasn’t the speed. I think I’m going to need some suspension work done. What is the cheapest way to fix this problem? How much am I looking on speeding on parts and any one that will help with the work for beer pizza and $50?
Do it for a veteran? Lol jk
Any suggestions?

I KNOWWW the car will need new rotors and pads, idk about lines. What is the cheapest way to upgrade my brakes? I’m not looking for (B)rembos although I loved them on the STi but I don’t want crap parts.
Any suggestions?

Yea if you get a 97+ bumper just get the lights to match, they'll both bolt right up, don't worry about the hood or fenders.
MAP is trying to clear out some of their DSM powerslot rotors I think, I'd go with those.
As for a suspension setup, I may have my Tokico HP setup for sale soon, probably looking at a $200 range.

Thaks for the merge!!
$200 would be great for the suspension! what condition is it in? how much use could i expect from it?
Ive spent a lot of $ at Map so ill have to look into the ps rotors how about pads?
any one that could do a compression check and timing check for me for a decient price?
