Alright, I have a 1g EPROM ECU here that has a socket on there that isn't recommend to use with DSMLink because the main board does not fit snugly. Looking for someone who has experience socketing to remove the current one and put in one recommend for use with Link. Would like to get this done sooner than later so please get back to me if you would be willing to take on this job, thanks!

You could try contacting Ryan (mustgofaster), MAP or DB. I think all of them do socketing.

MAP or DB don't do socketing, already contacted both. Will pm Ryan, thanks!

Another option would be to send it to Steve Piette. He's over on Tuners under the name "steve".

He's done work for me before and was a pleasure to do business with.

Well the thing is I want it done asap so I was looking for someone local to be able to do it to avoid too much downtime since I have a buyer lined up for my safc2 and he has been patiently waiting for about 2 weeks now, but I can't pull it out until I have the link setup in there. Contacted mustgofaster and he said he would probably be able to do it so hopefully this will work out.

If for any reason you need to send it out, I have a spare socketed ECU at home you could borrow for the the week or so that it'll be gone. You'd just have to make the trip to Blaine to pick it up, and bring it back when you're done.
