I saw it Sunday afternoon, it was ok...

Ill point out a flaw.

Tractor trailors use air to engage brakes, and air to release brakes. Trailer brakes are only disengaged when air is supplied to the brake chambers. When the chick broke the trailers free from the tractor using the freeze can, the brakes on the trailers should have locked up. :D

That's not the only flaw in that sequence.

Better cars than in previous movies. But I thought the storyline was terrible and the racing scenes a bit over the top. I went in not expecting much, but was still a bit irritated by the time wasted on the overly complex story. If you're going to make a terrible movie, just keep it simple. In that regard the first one was the best one.

Yea lots of totally unrealistic scenes, which ruined it for me.. but still entertaining.

At the end when Vin's car does a wheelie on gravel, I chuckled.

For a bunch of car guys watching a car movie its going to be pretty easy to tear apart, they use a lot of un-realistic scenes to get more viewers. It's kind of like me when I watch movies or mini-series like "Over There" or "Generation Kill", or other Iraq war movies, it's really easy to tear the shit out of them, but for 95% of thew general public, they are never going to know the difference.

Overall, I thought the movie was better than I expected, but I guess I didn't really expect all that much before seeing it either.
