Run Away!! Run Away!!

Seriously, a lot of those cars needed some serious suspension work. If you watch carefully, about 2/3 of the accidents start with one of the rear wheels losing traction/friction/contact with the road. Nothing that a decent and beefier set of components in the bacd end wouldn't have prevented.

I liked the yellow one at 2:20. Slides out of view, then comes back into view flying!

The white scooby at the begining and the third crash with the car rolling down Mt. St. Helen going towards people.

Most of the accidents were caused by excessive speed. Do you have any idea how much work actually goes into a rally car's suspension?

Hey, its rally, accidents happen, alot. Says alot about their roll cages tho, and the sturdiness of foreign guard rails lol. Also I wonder what kind of homeowners insurance you need to carry to cover a rally car coming thru your living room

I know very well how much money and time goes into prepping a car for road rallye work.

I also know that in the cheaper amateur classes, suspension work is often ignored.

I lived in Germany and Switzerland for almost 20 years and was pretty active in the local amateur rallye clubs. You'd shit a brick if I told you about the rigged up suspension work I've seen. As long as the roll cage and fuel cell are up to spec, some race organizers just don't care.
