If the bore and stroke were the same I do not see why a inline motor vs a V motor would make more/less torque. They do look really nice.

They are probably the most reliable part on the car. :)

Yeah, too bad their trannys are worse than DSMs! Well, after a few launches...

Dont inlines motors last longer? Less wear since its all just up and down for the most part. Ford 300 I6 almost impossible to kill.
