Looks pretty neat!
+1. I should probably take the opportunity to check my ECU once Chrysler gives me my car back sans leaky t-case.

cant wait till they get the link done for the evo 1-3 I will be the first in line for that. I have been buging them for almost 3 years now for it.

Anyone know how much V3 will be?

I think right around $150 for the upgrade, probably same price as V2 if you don't have that. They also have a new USB cable so no more adapters, hopefully that's included in the $150. Now I can get a mini-laptop for this puppy.

Looks cool, so how much HP can a EVO8 MAF support?

For anyone else interested, the EVO8 MAF will flow 25% more than a 2g MAF. It has been recorded up to 62 lb/min. It looks like a good option for you Steve!

Unhacked even? Seems like a good option.

It's pretty cool you can go in and update the timing tables and stuff like that. I wonder if you can change the injector warm up or whatever it's called to compensate for big injectors not flowing consistently for the first minute or two.

Thomas said $175 today for upgrade without MAF cable.

Will it actually flow 25% more or meter 25% more. I know it will definately meter more before hitting overrun, but the actual flow capabilities might not be as huge, since you can do some hacking to a 2G MAF versus next to nothing for the Evo and it's a 4" setup with the 2G versus 3" with the Evo. The DSMLink recommend settings for a hacked 2G MAF versus an Evo MAF are only 6% higher for the Evo. 6% is nothing to sneeze at on a 500whp car though. I have been on the fence with this on Mara's car. I can still hack the 2G MAF on her car a little bit more, but I have some Evo MAFs that I could just throw in and the round outlet is easier to deal with than the 2G oval.

Why not just wait it out for the speed density?

#1 MAFs are awesome for tuning in general and they have the upside of adjusting for mechanical and environmental changes. Would you rather know how much actual air is going into the motor and add the fuel based on that or just know the pressure of it...

#2 I don't have DSMLink

#3 I probably will go speed density soon anyways. :) I just feel like I have to defend MAF systems. People like to rush into overly complex setups too often.
