With my setup I have a '90 1G harness with what I think are the stock clips, when I start the car, it sounds/feels like it's missing on at least one cylinder.
I didn't get a chance to check each clip today, but I will tomorrow. The question is how often do those go bad/need to be replaced? I feel like they might be the cause of the rough running. I was able to get it running a few days ago and got it up a little past 1000rpm but it was still doing it.
I'll give an update tomorrow when I test it, but your thoughts on the clips would be great.
Thanks!

Never had an issue with one, except if you leave the metal clip off, then they can come partly off and cause issues.
Yes, I have never seen a problem unless the metal clip is off or if someone has physically broken them. I doubt that is your problem and I would start looking elsewhere, unless they have physically popped off.

IF the metal clip is off then I could see having issues or if the wire is partly cut or something.
I once had a connector back off because it was missing a metal clip. Sometimes people that think they know are wrong.

i ran lean in one cylinder because i ran without those darn clips(one plug walked off a little).
They are so difficult to use properly.
I assume that there is an easy tool to use the stock clips, but the injector clips i linked to above are great, and all you need to do is press on them to release them.

Or get 2g style injector clips that snap on/off really easy.

Well guys, thanks for the responses, it turns out I'm just retarded. Spark plug wires were on wrong. After that it started right up and idled great, revved ok. Set the timing and it revs like a champ, super fast, it's amazing. Now it's just buttoning it up and getting a tune. lol.
