The last two years the dem's have controlled the purse strings, you know, CONGRESS? The president has control over a veto, thats it folks.

I think in the House, the Democrats have the majority 232 to 202. Thats 53%. The Senate is 49 to 49 with two independents. That isn't much of a "controlling" interest. I have a feeling that is REALLY going to change next week.

It should be a very interesting election indeed. I expect the election to go very long this year as far as voter turnout as well as a close race.

Bah, that doesn't mean anything. Papers always print both parties as the winner if the race is close so they're ready to go immediately. But I get your point, to listen to any national news channel, you'd think Obama has it wrapped up. But obviously he's campaigning harder than ever because he even knows it's way to close to determine a winner yet. I know who I think is going to win.

I am voting Democrat because I believe in change; although I don't know WHAT the change will be, or HOW it will happen, AND I am pretty sure that I won't WANT to actually change anything I do, but still....I believe in change.


I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq, I know the Islamic terrorists will stop trying to kill us because they'll think we're a good and decent country.

Im voting democrat because McCain is so quick to make foolish decisions. (Palin, Suspending his campaign and every decision he has made in his campaign).
Im voting democrat because I believe that a candidate should be able to speak in a manner that proves he has some education (which Obama does).

No one can tell for certain what will happen in the future but i truely feel that barack will make a better president and has better qualifications.
