Trust me it makes me sick. When it happened I wanted to throw up. Good luck with your sale as well.

I'm not trying to be a dick about it or anything, I just wanted to make sure someone who would potentially buy the car isn't getting in deeper than they were expecting. And yeah, that 8k figure I threw out was probably a little on the high side, but I was just comparing it to other totals I've seen from similar damage.

I did some auto body work in High School and if your shop would quote $8k for that, you are way over priced. Obviously it will need some work on the core support but there is no where near the damage you are thinking.
I don't think this is a bad deal at all considering the rarity of the car and the engine work. Someone who has some autobody experience and looking for a VR4 would be all over this assuming they didn't want a stock car. Hell, a stock VR4 just sold for $4300 on here and most people on here would prefer some engine work.
I don't know the seller, just stating my opinion on the vehicle/price.

I dont know the guy selling the car, but I'm sure that the damage isn't that bad, I went to school for auto body and it looks like a little hammering and body parts. and Im sure that kevin_1g_drummer didnt mean to come off as a bad guy or anything, so lets just get back to the topic, we have 2500 here, do I hear a 3000?
