I have one, it is a Bel 9xx and it works great...I work at circuit city and it is one of the better ones we sell. I believe it was rated the second or third best behind some massively expensive escort type!

As far as performance, saved my ass dozens of times...Zero tickets with it on my car for almost three years...I don't speed though ;)

One damn ticket while it was sitting in the back seat, that'll teach me!

I too use a Bel. One thing I would definetly recommend if you like to speed in the cities areas would be a piece called the Laser Pro. It BLOCKS all types of incoming laser. It is frickin cool. A cop can sit there and keep gunning you with laser until he is blue in the face, and the Laser Pro deflects every incoming signal. It is real small nobody really knows what it is if they see it (two pieces mount on your front bumper and look like foglights, the other one mounts on your rear license plate). I can more than vouch for this system. If you really want to not get a ticket this is the way. Unfortunately it doesn't combat radar, but when used with a radar detector you are practically unstoppable.

He is lying. It is my radar detector. It is not working as good as it did though. Probly because I leave it in the window.
