Should i use a FELPRO gasket, RTV, or both?

RTV is the only way to go! No gasket needed. Make sure you don't put a long bolt on the oil pan hole under the timing belt.

Make sure your surfaces are very clean and dry(brakeclean). Then make sure your RTV is the correct stuff for oil sealing.

Use A LOT of rtv (ultra grey/black) and make sure you torque the bolts to spec.

torque spec is like 15 ft-lbs, very light!

It's a lot less than 15 ft/lbs, it's something inch/lbs.

And use ultra black on it, that works the best.

You're definitely right, it's inch/lbs for sure. Id find the torque specs online just to be sure though. I remember it's basically a hair more than finger tight.

That's why I asked. Two are stripped out because of the previous owner.
