Was just browsing an ebay motors page, that had a built 2g for sale. I noticed the coil on plug ignition system, and that it is on most high powered dsm's. I know the basic premise of the coil on plug system, but want to know some more about it. I am planning on building a built 1g soon and wanted to know if the COP system was worth the money. If you got links that would be great.
Thanks.

If you do your research and know what you're doing, a cop setup can be built for very cheap. I built mine out of 4 2.7L intrepid coils and my own base plate.
Cost me no more than 50 bucks total and couldn't be happier.

unless your running over 600hp the stock coil is fine. cop system is alot more looks. It does make it look real clean though

+1 for keeping the stock coil, why spend the money on COP if you dont have to?

Compared to the stock wires and coil setup I had before, I noticed better throttle response, and much smoother power. So I would look at it more as an alternative to upgrading to thicker wires.
Wow, that link, he has the worst looking engine bay for having a cops set up. I mean, stock FPR? Really?

Stock FPR is fine unless you have 2 fuel pumps or some crazy single external fuel pump.
