I have read it is the new world engine, the GEMA engine, or whatever. Same engine in the Caliber SRT4, pretty sure the evo, and other such cars (I think)

ew, performance-wise it's cool. I bet it still feels mega cheap like a Hyundai and its stealing the IS350 look.. meh. Good job, first Jaguar, Bentley's and now a wanna-be ISx50 looking car? ha.

Do you have a link to the info? All I know is when I was out at Hyundai Corp. they said multiple times it is going to be a boosted Elantra 2.oL DOHC

Wouldn't suprise me if the changed thier minds though. Or are changing the Elantra platform.

Yes, no 4G63, that motor is dead to OEMs now :D

Having the 4B11T in multiple platforms will really improve the breed IMHO, I've been waiting for this car to come out for a while now!

Still, RWD + MN = HELL YEAH...
I fixed it for ya ;) I'd definatly rock one of these

Hot looking car IMO. And I thought those were just rumors about it having the EVO 4B11T in it?

DaimlerChrysler, Hyundai, and Mitsu all got together and formed/made the GEMA. Global Engine Manufactures Association. They combined all their strengths to make a four banger that will be amazing. There are variations, but they are all based on the same design.

I can't find any where it specificallys says the 4B11T, in fact no where I've looked mentions and specific code or type. I can only assume, and logically guess, its a 4B11T.

If it IS, hello interchangeble parts.

Because this car is based on the 4 door V8 Genesis Sedan, Hyundai IS NOT ruling out a possible V8 model or maybed even a forced induction V6. (I got this info from the Q&A section of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe site).

I don't know why a tuner type person would want the N/A v6 anyways...
