My wife was really surprised when hers put down 555awhp and then 563awhp. She didn't expect such a difference. We were seeing around 15-17% difference. It's seems like around 15% from DD numbers is a decent guesstimate. MAP was also using SAE numbers too, compared to the higher older STD correction that a lot of the big Evo and Supra shops like to use to make the numbers look higher. Simply going from SAE to STD could be 10whp on a 400whp car.
Did the Evo guys dyno in 3rd of 4th gear? That single radial fan doesn't move much air to the intercooler compared to carpet dryer/squirrel cage style fans aimed right at it, which might have effected some cars more than others.
Steve's car has 600 DJ awhp in it without too much problem, my wife's on the other hand needs some more parts to get to that I think. Getting close to 600awhp on factory internals with a car that is driven everyday is a little scary though. It is funny the power that people are making on their everyday tunes though compared to a few years ago when this was all C16 territory.

Man that was a blast.
I was good to meet some of you guys in person; you all have some nice cars. My car decided to take a piss all over MAP's dyno so I did not get to see what I made..
I am going to fix my coolant issues this week and head back there.
Meanwhile, I am going to enjoy my pull-off winner trophy :sport017:...
...And start modding for the spring dyno day :P

Great day, numbers were all over the place and it was good to see some variation.
I guess we get to see some people running some good times with all those high numbers.
Maybe next time for me? when is that?
Even though i turned up halfday it was still a ton of fun. Weather was perfect i think for the dyno day.

Thanks for the kind words guys, we had a blast! Sorry if anyone felt like the event was rushed we had to get out to HIN immediately after the event. Also, as Scheides said if you would like a copy of your dyno graph please email jordan@maperformance.com and he will get it over to you promptly, thanks again!

One thing, there's a $100 gift certificate that is owed to the person with the highest torque. I *think* that is steve hill (he made highest whp) but need to look back to see.
Yep, made 519.98(520) lb/ft of torque. What do I win?

I saw a picture of the rx7 at the show, but only the engine. Did you leave the drag wheels/tires on it or toss on some dubs for the show?

I'll bring it by when I give you your trophy! Unless you wanna stop by my place tonight on your way home...
